Honda In Canada

In 1986, Honda Canada Manufacturing opened its doors in Alliston, Ontario fulfilling Honda’s global philosophy to build automobiles locally. In 1998, we built a second facility. And in 2008, our engine plant opened its doors. To date, we’ve produced more than 5.3 million vehicles including the Honda Civic Coupe and Sedan and the Acura CSX, MDX and ZDX. In fact, over the past 4 years, Honda Canada sold more Canadian-made vehicles in our country than any other manufacturer.

To date, we’ve invested over $2.6 billion dollars. We buy over $1.3 billion in goods from Canadian suppliers every year. We employ over 4,300 hard-working Canadians from coast to coast. And we couldn’t have become the company we are today without the support that this great country has shown us.
